Steve Heckeroth founded Homestead Enterprises, a solar design and renewable energy products company in 1975. He has manufactured electric vehicles including the electric Porsche Spyder and electric agricultural tractors since 1993. He is currently the Director of BIPV Products at Energy Conversion Devices, and is the Chair of the ASES Renewable Fuels and Transportation Division. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Solar Living Institute. |
